It’s hardly a surprise that these are kicking some serious heat in the scene with the sound that they’ve got from vibes of Hard Rock & all forms of metal. Releasing this album through Fearless Records also says a lot about how much heat they’re kicking working with one of the biggest labels in the alternative scene.
I’ve listened to this album a million times and I haven’t found a fault in it once. When they released Scars I completely and utterly fell in love with them and got so excited to finally listen to the album and I was not disappointed if more I was even more surprised at how good that these actually are.
Lifelines has to be my favourite track off this album as it was just singing through most of it then a really chug drop happened with some screams and I couldn’t help but properly go all out and headbang along to the song.
This band really sure are something special mixing so many different genre’s together which we can’t really say what style they are. Got some melodic chords, some hard rock riffs and some poppy singing which really compliments well on the album. It reminds me a bit of Beartooth but I really prefer these guys to them as they can actually really connect with me on a music level and I can’t help but sing the songs in my head like this album has been stuck in my head since I started listening to it.
I’m surprised that this band hasn’t toured the UK a lot because I reckon that all their shows would sell out for the fact how incredibly sounding they are which is very hard to find in a very saturated metal scene nowadays.
I Prevail did not disappoint with a solid new album!
