REVIEW: Dommin – Beautiful Crutch (Album)

By Cheri Faulkner · On January 7, 2016

So we have the latest offering from Alternative Rock band Dommin and it’s another great release from these guys. They’ve got some very theatrical sounds in their songs to make sure they’re sounding the most unique band out there, sometimes it could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. This release is something different with the extremely unique vocals from Kristofer Dommin which has a very same vibe as what Elvis Presley has to his vocals. I do feel unfortunately that this album is letting them down as I have heard some incredible releases from them but more importantly their songs My Heart, Your Hands and Dark Holiday are my favourite songs.

I don’t know how to put into words what I think about this album, it’s great but doesn’t do anything for me like some of their other releases. Hats off to Dommin for trying something new on their release but it just doesn’t appeal to me but I suspect it will appeal to a lot of other people as it’s a great album just too different to what I usually listen too.

Definitely check this out if you’re into Alternative rock as I feel it would go down extremely well in the right crowd of people and there seems to be people enjoying it if they’re being asked about touring across the world.
