The four piece Vukovi are due to release their self-titled debut album on the 10th of March followed by a small UK headline tour.
The 12 track album shows off decent pop rock skills from the Scottish band. Behind the tracks are personal stories and emotions like I’m wired, the lead singers favourite track.
Starting off with the first track on the album which is also the first single, La Di Da and is definitley one of the catchiest songs on this release which will definitely get stuck in your head. The song comes accompanied by a video the band published. Listening to it the first time immediately gives a Paramore kind of vibe.
Personal favourites are Weirdo and Prey. These two go along with the catchier songs on this album and are really great rock tracks. From the sound they also remind me a bit of early Avril Lavigne songs.
Last track on the album is called Colour me in and not just the longest but also the slowest track. While it’s not exactly what you could call a slow song, it’s by far the slowest song on the album compared to the other 11 tracks.
Great songs, catchy sound, definitely worth a listen
