The Tossers are back with yet another epic album since their previous release in 2013. Smash the Windows has definitely come at a good time of the year as the days get longer, which means more time at the pub enjoying multiple alcoholic beverages in the sun.
The album has an epic mix of that fast paced, lovable, upbeat Irish music we love such as, I Will Court Them All and Drinking All The Day to the more soft subtle songs, including a brilliant rendition of Danny Boy. In short there isn’t really anything to be mad about listening to this album as they have stayed true to the Irish/Celtic folk, punk genre.
I was really excited for the album upon the bands release of the audio for Erin Go Bragh on Victory Records . This was then shortly followed by a music video for Smash the Windows. This really fed my hunger for more and I was happy to receive the album to review.
The track-list as I previously mentioned is a good mix of pace but the songs themselves also have a great diversity lyrically throughout and i’m glad this has been released before St Patrick’s Day because having his album is going to make it all that more enjoyable, as always with the time in between albums, The Tossers have made that wait worth it.
