Lost Division are the new kids on the block where hard rock is concerned and they’ve definitely grabbed it by the horns with their first release, Wish You Were Dead.
I’m a sucker for a good female fronted band as I love the juxtaposition in the female voice against the rough riffs of a guitar and Lost Division is no exception to this. The vocals of Teija are powerful and are complemented by the musical styling and direction that the band have gone with. There are elements of metal in this but also a lick of some of the more classical bands forming quite an interesting unique sound. Overall, Wish You Were Dead is a delightful collective of amazing sound and fantastic vocals.
