It’s been a while since I’ve listened to anything that you’d consider heavy in the music world, but I thought it was time to get back in to some harsh vocals and tasty riffs. GraVil definitely reignited that spark and what a way to do it with their latest self release, No More Forgiveness.
I feel like giving this album a pretty abstract analogy as at the moment that is the only way I can think to describe it, If I was a Godzilla, this is the music I’d want in the background whilst going on a mass rampage of a city with absolutely zero remorse for the destruction caused.
There wasn’t one song I didn’t enjoy throughout and I know I can be pretty picky at times but it was put together fantastically, and I absolutely lost it when I listened to Fractured, Divided! Talk about an eargasm of immense proportions, the intense heavy vocals accompanied by what I can only describe as an angelic display from Theresa Smith. But overall with every song, it blends incredibly leaving no room for disappointment.
GraVil have released Decommissioned on spotify and have paired it with one of the sickest lyric videos I’ve ever seen. It’s pretty mean because it really teases you and leaves you wanting more, but lucky for me I was able to listen to the whole album and I hope if you’ve had the pleasure of having your ears tantalised by Decommissioned I’ve been able to portray the rest of the album in a way that gets you excited, because you should be.
No More Forgiveness is due to release 5 May 2017 and if you don’t buy it, an angry ancient dinosaur might pay you a visit.
Follow their stuff, give them some love because they deserve it.
