ATLAS have smashed out a new single and it’s pretty delicious. The Catalyst, the second release this year for the band following on from their previous single Birthright.
I’m a fan, it’s a very well put together piece of work and highlights all my favourite elements of a metalcore band, or as ATLAS have labelled themselves, northcore. From tempo changes, to gorgeous little breakdowns and not forgetting, for good measure, gut wrenching screams, The Catalyst feels and sounds refined and you can definitely feel the passion that has been put in to this song.
