It’s slowly approaching that wonderful time of year once again for all festival lovers, where over the next few months the first 2018 headliner announcements for your favourite events begin their unveiling and for British/European metal heads, the news is quite the headbanger.
Donington’s celebrated Download festival has once again delivered and will be bringing to the heavy metal masses the almighty Prince of Darkness known as Ozzy Osbourne as the Sunday headliner, ready to shut down any competition that may lay (and play) before him.
Numerous appearances and previous performances at the legendary event (alongside his old compadres in Black Sabbath) are a firm reminder that he is no newbie to this particular party and following his continuous success, has no intentions of stopping the revelry just yet.
Announced as part of his final world tour, this will be the first solo concert from the great and powerful Ozz to have ever graced the stage of Donington, unwaveringly discarding any assumption that this is not an immensely strong start for the imminent rock n roll call.
Download Festival runs from 8-10th June and is based in Donington, Leicestershire.
