After a month of touring the UK and Europe with All Time Low, SWMRS decided to play a one off headline show in London before heading back to the States. Support came from UK based band The Shrives. The pop punk band presented songs from their new album Back in the Morrow which was released in February. From the album they played Kick it as well as Turn me on. Even singer Matt can’t really find the words to describe their sound but it is somewhere between punk rock, and rock n roll. But either way they played a great set and had the crowd sing and clap along.
Time for the main band of the night. Kicking off the show with Palm Trees and BRB they added the songs Uncool, Harry Dean and Miss yer kiss from their latest album Drive North to fill the setlist. Moving on to their most famous song Miley in honour of Miley Cyrus. Singer Cole got the fans to crowdsurf but actually the most of them ended up joining the band on stage. Following this, SWMRS singer Max had his solo moment with Lose it and Turn Up.
The show finished with the tracks Drive North and Figuring Out to which the crowd got into a little moshpit before going over to the two track Encore. For the finale singer Cole performed a song on his own before the band joined him again for the last song of the night while he decided to crowdsurf.
Great pop punk show with a band up close with the fans and a love for Miley Cyrus. Worth to see!
