The last day of the UK part of this tour was celebrated with a sold out show in London. The show started with a lovely and cheerful girl called Tessa Violet. No not Hey Violet but Tessa Violet from Oregon, who got to play in the UK for the first time in support of Bry on his headline tour.
She played her songs on either acoustic guitar or drums and gave a little motivation speech when she talked about her anxiety. Either way she already had a solid fanbase in the crowd singing and dancing along to songs like Sorry I’m Not sorry, Bird Song or the more emotional Make me a robot. She finished the set with her catchy song Not over you where she definitely got everyone up on their feet and jump around.
A modified version of Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots welcomed Bry on stage and he started his set right off being his energetic self, despite of his cold. He played Don’t go alone and Everything from his new selftitled album before he turned to the emotional track Pieces. He switched from guitar to piano to play a cover of Tear in my heart by Twenty One Pilots, who he luckily supported on their tour end of 2016.
With electric guitar, acoustic or piano, with hat or without, with make up or, well probably not without, Bry does it all. The setlist contained all songs of his album and he also told some stories inbetween songs including a review that was written about him thinking he was a girl.
Moving on he played one of the fans favourite Adventure Time and got a fan to join him on stage to sing the chorus together. Meanwhile the crowd got their phones out to enlighten the room. After the Encore his wife Candice joined him on stage to duet the song Care. Last of Bry finished the show with his upcoming single Disarm.
No dull moment at this show. Great songs, jokes, energy and fun.
