With the release of their latest album Chaos, Attila hit the U.K and Europe with The Chaos Tour, supported by Carcer City and The Word Alive. On their third stop on the tour we managed to grab a face to face interview with their frontman Chris ‘Fronz” before their Leeds show, and shared some inspirational words for new and up and coming bands looking to break it in the industry, talks of a new album being written for Q3 of 2017 which he confirms is going to be “heavy as f$@k” which will excite the new and existing fan base. During the interview we cheered him up with a few gifts from Mysticum Luna which he was grateful for “I’d love to punch someone with this ring dude” were the words we expected from such a genuinely cool guy. Not to mention the rock star whose name is in everyone’s mouths!
Moving on to their show over at the Key Club in Leeds, warmed up by the amazing Carcer City and The Word Alive who got the crowd pumped and ready to start a pit to Atilla’s powerful opening, the venue was packed wall to wall and shaking with jumping and head banging fans. Fronz opened with a few ground rules for the ground and proceeded to make an exceptional performance even while coping with an undisclosed illness..
A great mix of old and recent tracks were played and half way through the show Fronz called up two people from the crowd to sing the track Payback from their fourth album Outlawed. The crowd singing in unison as the venue was overwhelmed with loyal fans. Attila played plenty of new songs from the album Chaos, sound and timing was performed consistent and tight for such a small stage. By the end of the show the crowd was mostly on the stage jumping from speaker to speaker and back into the crowd. This was a very welcoming show for Attila after their front man received a lot of personal ‘hate’ during the release of their fifth album ‘About That Life’.
