Recently we joined Void Of Vision to ask a few questions and here’s what they had to say.
How did the name Void Of Vision come about?
We had another band name but another band from the UK had the same name but we was messing around brainstorming ideas and we all said it’ll be cool to have someone with void & vision in and we decided to call ourselves Void Of Vision which fitted us all.
What’s your favourite track to play live?
We’d have to say Control Freak as it’s bouncy and really get the crowd moving so we enjoy ourselves more.
What’s your favourite lyrics and why?
At the moment I’d say it would have to be black & White as it’s a simple message to get across to people with what;s going on in Australia like bigotry and racism.
Is their any plans for new music?
We’re always writing but we really need to concentrate on it and review it. So we’re gonna smash a few more tours out then we’re gonna go home and really work on some new stuff.
What would be your favourite show you’ve played as a band?
Easily would have to be Unify festival 2016 best day of our lives playing something with the likes of Parkway Drive and loads of other cool bands.
Who was the founding members?
We’re still the same line up than when we started out nearly 5 years ago but we definitely take it a lot more serious than what we used to when we first started.
Do you feel you’ve grown a extremely loyal fan base over the years?
Yeah we feel like we got a real loyal fan-base in Melbourne which is as far out as you can go while pushing the boundaries and it was mental to see so many familiar faces turn up and some cool new ones.
